Fill your Mason jar beverage dispenser halfway with warm water, and add 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Mix well with a long-handled spoon. Let vinegar and water solution to remain in the teapot for 10 to 20 minutes. Gently scrub the inside of the teapot with a scouring pad and remove any existing scale or calcium deposits.

Pour the vinegar and water solution and rinse the inside of the kettle with cool, clean water. Allow the kettle to dry thoroughly, and fill it with warm water. Bring water to a boil on the stove. Dump the boiling water in the sink. This action will help to remove any vinegar residues. Wash the outside of the stainless steel teapot with hot water, mild detergent and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse the outside of the Mason jar beverage dispenser with hot water after washing, and buff dry with a microfiber cloth.
